Lolit Solis kay Paolo Contis: “Bakit ba ayaw tigilan ng mga bitter person”

Lolit Solis recently had a commentary about the criticisms that Paolo Contis currently receives.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Lolit described Paolo’s detractors as “bitter.”

“Naku Salve bakit ba ayaw tigilan ng mga bitter person si Paolo Contis. Tutoo na may mga nagawa siyang pagkakamali sa buhay niya, hindi ba siya puwede bigyan ng 2nd chance? Usually naman pag nagkamali ka, meron din participation iyon partner mo, hindi naman puwede na ikaw lang nagkamali.”

Manay Lolit went on to clarify that she is not condoning her talent’s mistakes.

“Ayaw ko isipin na dahil alaga ko si Paolo Contis kunsintidora ako sa mga ginagawa niya. His life is his own, kung ano ang mas magpapaligaya sa kanya, iyon dapat niyang gawin. Maaring may masaktan sa desisyon niya, pero buhay niya iyon. Hindi dapat diktahan dahil kanya iyon.”

Likewise, Lolit said she wonders why bashers seem to always find something negative with everything Paolo does.

“Nagtataka ako bakit para bang lahat ng gawin ni Paolo Contis hinahanapan ng mali. Give him a break please. Hayaan naman natin siya makahinga at ma enjoy ang buhay. Unfair naman na diktahan natin siya ng dapat gawin.”

The talent manager and showbiz columnist further aired, “Kawawa naman siya. His life is how he want to live it, let it be. What makes him happy, good. Huwag na tayo makialam.”

Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". Despite being cast in the popular teleserye "Mara Clara", Contis was better known for being part of the primetime sitcom "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards. His celebrity ex-girlfriends include Lian Paz and LJ Reyes.

After "Eat Bulaga" went live on air on Monday, GMA's Aubrey Carampel was able to interview Paolo, Betong Sumaya and Buboy Villar. According to her report on "24 Oras," Paolo said they were honored to be chosen as the new hosts, but he underscored that they could never replace Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon or TVJ. Paolo also expressed his hope that people would "give us a chance."

Paolo, Betong and Buboy had a hilarious exchange during their second day as “Eat Bulaga” hosts. In their opening number, the three comedians briefly talked about their first days as ‘EB’ hosts. Paolo joking aired, "Napansin ko, parang lahat tayo nakapatay lahat ang mga cellphone."
