Paolo Contis, nag-joke ng “parang lahat tayo nakapatay ang mga cellphone” ukol sa 1st day nila sa ‘Eat Bulaga’

- Betong also quipped that, “Pinaputol ko ang line ko,” while Buboy said in jest, “Pinakontak ko yung snȧtcher”

New “Eat Bulaga” hosts Paolo Contis, Betong Sumaya and Buboy Villar had a funny conversation during their second day on the noontime show on Tuesday.

In their opening number, the three comedians briefly talked about their first days as ‘EB’ hosts.

“So, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Eto, pag-usapan na natin. Kamusta 'yung feeling niyo nung first day natin kahapon?” Paolo asked his co-hosts.

Betong was the first to answer, saying, “It’s mind-boggling and adrenalin-pumping.”

“Ako, napansin ko, parang lahat tayo nakapatay ang mga cellphone,” Paolo then hilariously aired.

Betong then jokingly uttered, “Alam mo, pinaputol ko ang line ko.”

Likewise, Buboy said in jest that he even asked someone to contact a snatcher.

“Pinakontak ko yung snatcher, ‘Please, snȧtch my phone,’” said Buboy.

Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". Despite being cast in the popular teleserye "Mara Clara", Contis was better known for being part of the primetime sitcom "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards. His celebrity ex-girlfriends include Lian Paz and LJ Reyes.

After "Eat Bulaga" went live on air on Monday, GMA's Aubrey Carampel was able to interview Paolo, Betong and Buboy. According to her report on "24 Oras," Paolo said they were honored to be chosen as the new hosts, but he underscored that they could never replace Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon or TVJ. Paolo also expressed his hope that people would "give us a chance."

Lolit Solis took to social media and talked about her talent Paolo Contis being one of new 'EB' hosts. As per the entertainment columnist and talent manager, Paolo is actually a fan of TVJ. Manay Lolit also underscored that Paolo was just accepting whatever job was offered to him.
