Darren Espanto, who just turned 22 years old, recently had a fun celebration of his birthday.

KAMI learned that the singer took to his Instagram page and shared a reel giving glimpses of the celebration.

"22!" he simply wrote in the caption along with a partying face emoji.

According to the reel, Darren’s birthday party was attended by several celebrities.

Among those spotted at the event were his rumored girl Cassy Legaspi, her twin Mavy Legaspi, and the latter’s rumored girlfriend Kyline Alcantara.

AC Bonifacio, Alexa Ilacad, Belle Mariano, Kyle Echarri, Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing, and some ABS-CBN executives, among others, also joined the celebration.

The singer was also presented with a delectable birthday cake during the special event.

Darren Espanto, born on May 24, 2001 as Darren Lyndon Gonzales Espanto, is a Filipino-Canadian singer and actor well-known for his cover songs such as "Dying Inside To Hold You", originally sung by Timmy Thomas. He first joined a competition at the age of ten, where he won the Masters Finals of the Pinoy Singing Sensation competition in Edmonton.

Cassy Legaspi took to social media and wrote a sweet greeting for Darren. In a lengthy and heartfelt post, Cassy expressed gratitude to Darren and enumerated several pleasing traits of the singer. The daughter of Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi also cryptically called Darren "DB." In the comments section, it can be noticed that many netizens wondered what "DB" means.
