Lolit Solis, in one of her recent Instagram posts, revealed what she thinks former basketball star and now showbiz personality, Benjie Paras, would go with if made to choose between basketball and showbiz.

The veteran showbiz columnist then proceeded to explain why she thinks the former basketball star loved one undertaking more over the other.
She said that Benjie would often appear to show complete joy in such undertaking, adding that his heart truly belongs there.
“Talagang pagdating sa basketball Salve dito parin puso ni Benjie Paras,” Manay Lolit said.

“Iyon bang ang ligaya na niya basta nanduon siya sa seat of action, kahit na nga manuod na lang siya,” she added.
The veteran showbiz columnist then found it nice to see Benjie and his son, Andre, performing the roles of sports commentators.
“Katuwa nga na ngayon ay magkasama sila ni Andre Paras sa pagiging sport commentator. At kahit na nga nasa Japan si Kobe Paras para maglaro, every now and then pinupuntahan nila ito,” she said.
Manay Lolit then surmised that even the younger kids of Benjie have become basketball devotees because that is what they would always watch.
“Siguro iyon mga younger kids ni Benjie at asawang si Lyxen baka maging basketball devotees din dahil nasasanay silang manuod ng basketball,” the columnist said.
She then praised Benjie for portraying his role as a good and responsible family man.
“I love the way Benjie handles his time and his being a family man. Talagang very responsible siya at focus. Kaya naman hindi kataka takang ang mga anak niya ay mga responsible and good people habang lumalaki. Bongga talaga, Benjie Paras, walking tall , ano say mo Salve and Gorgy” Manay Lolit concluded.
Venancio Johnson Paras Jr., more popularly known as Benjie Paras is a former professional basketball player, Pinoy actor and comedian. He used to play for Shell Turbo Chargers and San Miguel Beermen in the Philippine Basketball Association. Benjie later on tried his hand in showbiz and found new success in comedy roles both in movies and in TV series.
Last April, Benjie was among the topics discussed by popular comedian Dagul in his interview with Aster Amoyo. Dagul shared that during the times when his professional and financial status isn’t that good because he wasn’t active in showbiz, Benjie did not forget to extend a helping hand. Dagul said he would often send Benjie a message whenever he is in dire need of help and the former PBA player would always help him out.
Last year, Benjie weighed in on the love life of his son, Kobe Paras. He said that he doesn’t meddle with the personal life of his son because he’s already at the right age. The former PBA star said that he trusts his son to make the right decision for himself. It can be recalled that at the time, the photo of Kobe and the daughter of Ina Raymundo, Erika Poturnak, made rounds on social media because of their poses.
