Gab Valenciano, in a recent post on his Instagram account, expressed his gratitude to his mother, Angeli Pangilinan, for always being there for him.

He then said that when everyone else turned their backs on him, his mom stayed on and continued to believe in him.
“To the person who believed in me when everyone else turned their backs on me,” Gab wrote.
The celebrity endorser also recognized the influence of his mom over him when it comes to harnessing hardship and transforming it into “empathy, compassion, and unconditional love.”

“To the person who taught me how to harness your hardship and transform it to empathy, compassion and unconditional love. And to the one who managed to keep this family of six uniquely contrasting, crazily artistic individuals (who have their own universes) together hahaha My number one supporter, motivator and encourager,” he further wrote.
Gab, expressing gratitude to his mom, admitted the important role that Angeli plays to his “personal, emotional, and mental growth.”
“Thank you for you, mom. I appreciate you and everything you stand for beyond words. You are a very huge component to my personal, emotional and mental growth,” he said in his post.
He then greeted her a Happy Mother’s day and said that Angeli is the platinum standard when it comes to “what it means to be a strong woman.”

Gab is the son of OPM legend Gary Valenciano. In 2014, he got married to Tricia Centenera in a civil wedding in the US and two more times in Tagaytay and Boracay in 2015. Unfortunately, the two separated due to Gab’s alleged cheating. He also experienced and overcame mental health issues, inspiring many people who are also struggling with the same issues.
He shared an emotional video of the moment he bid his family goodbye at the airport. His mom, Angeli Pangilinan, was not able to hold back the tears and went on crying when he hugged her. Gab's father, Gary Valenciano, likewise became emotional when he embraced his son. In his caption, he said that it was not goodbye but simply a hopeful and exciting "see you later."
He also celebrated World Mental Health Day yesterday with an inspiring post. He uploaded a photo comparison of himself before and after he started to deal with his mental health issues properly. According to Gab, it is never too late for a person to seek inner peace. Gab said that surrounding oneself with the right energy and people instead of getting immersed in society's hatred and violence is the key.
