According to Gab, the changes will come if a person decides to take steps to become a better person no matter how small those steps are. He clarified that this process is difficult but possible and totally worth it.

“As we celebrate #WorldMentalHealthDay, allow me to share this photo to show you that it’s never too late to pursue and seek peace. That you will never be too far from saving, never too lost to be found and never too defeated to find redemption.
“The world is riddled with so much hate, violence and uncertainty, and considering we are heavily immersed in the information it feeds us, our mental health is constantly in danger. Surround yourself with the right energy, the right people and reinforce your well-being by detaching yourself from elements that cause you to drown. Difficult? Very. Possible? Without a doubt. Worth it? Totally.

“Always remember that it starts with you. You need to crave for the ‘best you’ and simply choose to be better every single day. It doesn’t need to be major strides because as I’ve said before, baby steps are still steps. As cliché as it sounds, you are stronger and tougher than you think.
“Stay mentally and physically healthy, protect your heart and your mind and always keep the faith. You are not and never will be alone in this fight for there are millions of us searching for the same light. God bless all of you,” Gab said.

Gab Valenciano is the son of OPM legend Gary Valenciano. In 2014, he got married to Tricia Centenera in a civil wedding in the US and two more times in Tagaytay and Boracay in 2015. Unfortunately, the two separated due to Gab’s alleged cheating. He also experienced and overcame mental health issues, inspiring many people who are also struggling with the same issues.
