“Through the path of self-healing and self-exploration, I was able to collect my energy and align myself to be able to activate my authentic empowerment.
“Ever since I found out about my mental health condition C-PTSD, I never stopped working on myself. In fact, I have grown and evolved so much that I truly see myself as a changed and transformed woman. The past no longer defines me. The future no longer worries me.

“I am here. I am me. I am now.
“I have connected to myself so much that I completely understand that my life is 100% my responsibility. I do not blame anyone or any circumstance in my life for my current situation. I know that if I want to be genuinely happy and find inner peace, I have to be the one to do this for myself. No one else.
“As #WorldMentalHealthDay (October 10) is fast approaching, I encourage you to look within and ask your soul what it needs to be able to quiet the overthinking mind and heal the wounded heart.
“Yesterday, I purposefully took a drive to @sonyasgarden by myself so that I could spend quality time nourishing my sweet soul in nature. As usual, I felt nothing but God’s love which is truly medicine for the heart, mind and spirit,” Maxene wrote.
