It was their pet Maltese, which is well-loved by the family.

Because of this, Jolens thought that she might no longer have enough space on the bed.

Their Maltese was also positioned like her kids, occupying a space good for one person.

She then pointed to her space on the bed and showed that she was able to lie down.
