Priscilla Meirelles opened up about her marriage with actor John Estrada in an interview with ABS-CBN reporter Mario Dumaual.

The former beauty queen admitted that she and John went through a rough patch together but denied that it was something major.

“Actually, we never really had any major, let's say... I cannot say that it wasn't well.

"Every marriage goes through very rough patches. We were going through a rough time, actually for a while already," Priscilla said.

According to Priscilla, her minor issue with John could be compared to having a house with a broken light. She explained that instead of getting a new house, it would be wiser to just fix the broken light.

“If it comes to a point where you have a house and one of the lights is broken, do you change the house or do you fix the light? We try to fix the light first. This is basically what's happening,” she explained.

Furthermore, Priscilla said that she and her husband are talking and that they respect each other’s space, describing their relationship as good,

"We are talking. There is no major happening right now. I think the most important part is that we respect each other and we respect each other's space. All is good," Priscilla told Mario.

Priscilla Meirelles de Almeida, the wife of actor John Estrada, is a Brazilian model, host, actress, environmentalist and beauty queen. In 2004, she won the Miss Earth title, the pageant night of which was held in the Philippines. She also became Miss Globe in 2003. John Estrada has a daughter with Priscilla named Anechka. He also has four children with his former wife, actress Janice De Belen. They are Inah (born in 1992), Moira (born in 1993), Kaila (born in 1996), and Yuan (born in 1998).

The beauty queen did not elaborate nor gave other details with regards her question. Previously, she also took to IG and posed a similar thought with almost the same context. Many netizens assumed that there is a woman going after Priscilla’s husband.
