Andrea Brillantes has finally addressed the bashers criticizing her 'promposal' for Ricci Rivero at BLACKPINK's concert in Manila.

Previously, the Kapamilya actress made headlines after catching the K-Pop girl group's attention during their Manila tour.

At the Star Magical Prom, Loi Villarama managed to ask Andrea's opinion about the matter regarding her 'promposal.'

"Well first, sa mga nangse-shame sakin just because I proposed, na yung babae ang nag-propose, tulad ng sinabi ko sa comments ko ulit na stop shaming girls for making the first move," she said.

In the video, Andrea said it was saddening to read the comments, especially since most were also from fellow women.

"It's sad kasi nakakabasa ako ng comments na malandi na ako agad because I was the one who proposed, sana mabago na po natin yung pag-iisip na ganun kasi kung okay lang sa lalaki, ba't hindi pwede sa babae? At tsaka ang nakakalungkot, galing pa sa babae yung comment na yun at tsaka diba, Women's Empowerment month ngayon so dapat talagang kung feminist ka tapos naniniwala ka na kaya ng babae ang ginagawa ng lalaki pero pag ginagawa ko na yung ginagawa ng lalaki, hindi okay? It just doesn't make sense," she said.
