Liza or Hope Soberano’s new advertisement for Maya, an online payment platform, has gained a lot of support from her fans.

The commercial, which the actress posted on her Instagram account, immediately gained thousands of reactions and comments.

It can be recalled that Liza, who recently said that she now prefers to be called Hope, became Maya’s new Brand Ambassador and Chief Advocacy Officer.

Previously, all of her photos and videos on Instagram disappeared, giving rise to speculations that she might have either deleted or archived them.

There were also some who believed her action could be part of her rebranding.

She did not give her comment on such speculations but soon, a series of photos with what appeared to be a poem as caption appeared on her Instagram account.

Later on, she posted a vlog where she made some controversial claims that earned her some degree of bashing from different sides.

The opposite is true for her new ad, however, where netizens wrote a lot of positive and encouraging comments for the actress.

Liza, or Hope, as she prefers to be called now, is a Fil-Am actress, singer, endorser, and model. She has starred in various TV series and movies, which include 'Forevermore,' 'Dolce Amore,' and 'Bagani,' among others. She is currently in a relationship with her on-screen partner, Enrique Gil.

The actress may have lots of supporters and bashers now but she is also getting some advice from people whom she used to work with. One of them is former ABS-CBN executive Ethel Espiritu, who expressed her opinion in a social media post that Liza shouldn’t have been interviewed by Bea Alonzo. The former ABS-CBN executive made the statement in light of the interview of Liza with Bea for the latter’s vlog. In the said interview, Liza again made some controversial statements that subjected her to more bashings. It can be recalled that the actress became controversial after releasing a vlog where she indicated that she had no freedom to choose or speak while under ABS-CBN.

In another tweet, Ethel also gave Liza Soberano an unsolicited advice through a post on social media. In her post, Ethel advised Liza to first review and reassess what she’s going to say before even saying it. She also described the latest move of the actress as “personal career growth media release gone wrong.” It can be recalled that Liza made some controversial statements in her vlog, in an interview with Bea Alonzo, and in a recent talk with Boy Abunda.
