During the said episode of the Kapuso talk show, Boy shared that he was able to have a sit-down interview with Liza last March 7, a day before the actress left the Philippines for the US.

He was able to arrange the interview days after James Reid, Liza’s current manager, reached out to him.

At the beginning of the interview, Liza revealed that she initially didn't want to do the interview with Boy because she didn't feel the need to explain her side.

However, Liza said, "I started having feelings of regret because there were so many interpretations of what I said. It was getting so noisy. So many thoughts and opinions were coming in. I felt I needed to defend myself."

The King of Talk was also able to ask Liza about her reaction to his commentary on her 14-minute “This is Me” vlog. Liza then admitted that she was hurt by Boy’s remarks.

“Na-hurt ako kasi feeling ko of all people ikaw ‘yung makakaintindi [because] I see you as one of the wisest in the industry.”

Aside from the mentioned subjects, Liza also made clarifications about her viral vlog, talked about the time she was called “little producer” by her previous co-workers, how grateful she is because of her career and having the screen name “Liza,” among others.

Meanwhile, the said interview made the rounds all over social media in no time.
