Richard Gomez and his daughter, Juliana Gomez, sparred together in a fencing game, and the video of the father and daughter tandem has gone viral.

Gretchen Ho had the opportunity to interview the father and daughter, and was also the one who uploaded the video on IG.

According to Gretchen, being able to spar together is an opportunity for the younger Gomez to learn from her father who is a SEA Games gold medalist in the said sport.

Gretchen revealed that whenever Richard would watch the games of Juliana, he can be a little bit tough on his daughter.

On the other hand, Juliana's mom, Lucy Torres, would get nervous.

"Dad says he can be a little bit tough on Juliana especially when watching her matches, that’s why he doesn’t come to see them live anymore. Mama Lucy also can’t take watching Juliana’s matches because she gets too nervous."

Because of this, they no longer watch her matches but have imparted words of wisdom to their daughter.

Richard Gomez is one of the most popular Filipino actors of his generation. He is also a director, television presenter, athlete, and politician. Since 2016, he has been serving Ormoc City as its mayor.

Richard and Lucy's daughter has recently been trending online. In Richard's cooking channel on YouTube, he posted a vlog where he cooked for Juliana. By the end of the video, Juliana and Richard invited one of their helpers to try the food out. Needless to say, netizens were in awe of how sweet and caring Juliana was to their helper.
