Toni Fowler, in a recent post on her Facebook account, slammed those who have been bashing her new music video titled “MPL.”
She appears in the video with the rapper known as Freshbreed, along with several unidentified men and women.
The controversial music video, which was uploaded on Toni’s official YouTube channel and reposted on her Facebook account on February 14, has gained more than a million views.
On YouTube alone, the MV has reached 1,539,873 views as of this writing, or a little over 24 hours after it was posted, and still counting.

The song’s lyric video, which was also uploaded on Toni’s YouTube channel, now has more than 264K views as of posting.
Toni’s MV with Freshbreed contained some explicit scenes with lyrics that according to many netizens were offensive.
Negative observations flooded the comments section of the MV, though Toni’s supporters were also quick to defend and praise the social media influencer.
In a recent Facebook post, Toni said that if some netizens don’t like her video, they shouldn’t watch it.
“Pag ayaaaaaw nyo wag nyo panoorin pakasimple ❤,” Toni said in her post.
Toni is a social media influencer who rose to fame as a YouTuber after she was involved in the scandal related to the separation of actress and social media star Jelai Andres and her husband Jon Gutierrez. Despite the controversy, many people supported Toni and her relationship with Rob Moya.
Toni recently shared a picture of her and Vice Ganda taken in 2012 back when she was still working as one of the backup dancers on “It's Showtime.” She shared the said photo after she recently appeared as a guest on the noontime show, not as a backup dancer but as one of the hosts. She is also among the cast of Coco Martin's new series FPJ's Batang Quiapo which started airing last Monday. Toni also shared in her post a new photo of her and Vice Ganda.
During her recent guesting on “It’s Showtime,” Toni openly cried. The vlogger shared that she worked as a backup dancer on “It’s Showtime” for almost three years during the beginning of the show. Her return to the program was special and emotional because she returned as an actress and not just as a backup dancer. She guested on the show as a cast member of the new ABS-CBN teleserye “Batang Quiapo.”
