- Gretchen pretended to just pass by and walked straight ahead without a wave or hi

- The comedian then turned to the camera, seemingly on the verge of tears and jokingly asked why Gretchen was like that when he has been there for a long time

Comedian Alex Calleja took to Facebook and shared a video clip, where he made a parody of a snubbing incident, and which starred himself and former volleyball player Gretchen Ho.

In the video, Gretchen passed by, pretending to completely ignore Alex.

He could be heard in the background trying desperately to call the attention of Gretchen, even to the point of chasing after her.

“Gretchen, Gretchen, kahit kaway lang. Gretchen Ho,” Alex said in the video.

At this juncture, Alex turned to the camera seemingly crying and was even putting his hands on his eyes.

"Ba't siya ganun? Ba't siya ganun? Tagal kong naghintay dito eh," Alex asked.

The video has gone viral and has been shared by netizens so many times.

Gretchen is a television host and former volleyball player in the Philippines. She played volleyball for the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2008 to 2013. Her popularity rose when she became a co-host on Umagang Kay Ganda, TV Patrol, and The Score.

In one of her posts on Instagram, Gretchen shared a photo where all members of her family, except for her late father, were seen celebrating the birthday of the TV hosts’ eldest brother. In her caption, Gretchen noted that it is the first birthday celebration that her father is not in attendance. She is of the opinion, however, that her family has grown stronger ever since her Dad passed away. The TV host also remarked that her eldest brother is not the “Padre de Pamilya,” then jokingly signed it with “your mortal enemy.”

In another post, she also shared that she used to spend many of her college breaks at the chapel. She then said that she goes there and sits “on the far end of the pew,” not only to pray but also to sleep. The TV presenter also said that no one else knows that she’s sleeping there. Gretchen then surmised that perhaps God would not mind if she sleeps there as she would always ask permission if she could rest at the chapel.
