As per the order of Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of Branch 69 of the Regional Trial Court of Taguig, the court stated that it was not convinced at that particular point that there exists a great presumption that could lead to an inference of the guilt on the part of the accused TV host.

Based on the report of Mike Navallo on ABS-CBN, there were inconsistencies in the affidavits, as well as in the statements given by Deniece in court were inconsistent.

The court pointed out in particular her responses as a witness, who claimed that she suffered from trauma.

"The foregoing statements of the complainant are, to the mind of this Court, inconsistent with her claim of trauma, and outside the reasonable expectations for someone who just underwent a painful ordeal,” said the court, in its order posted by Mike Navallo on Twitter.
"It must be emphasized, however, that a grant of bail does not prevent the Court, as trier of facts, from making a final assessment of the evidence after full trial on the merits," said the court as indicated in Philstar's report.

Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."

The comedian is making headlines due to the court’s decision to grant his petition for bail and have temporary liberty. Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” then reacted to the news. As per Cristy, the said news made a lot of people happy, especially Vhong’s family, colleagues and fans. The veteran showbiz columnist also seemed pleased that Vhong could be with his loved ones again and resume working.

His petition for bail was granted by the Taguig Regional Trial Court, reports say. The court has fixed P1 million bail for his temporary liberty in connection with the charges filed by model Deniece Cornejo. An official court document dated December 5, 2022 stated that the court is not convinced that there exists a presumption leading to the inference of guilt on the part of Navarro. It can be recalled that just a couple of weeks ago, Navarro was transferred from the NBI to Taguig City jail.
