Leon Barretto’s recent viral interview was a topic of discussion during “Cristy Ferminute” on Monday.

In the said interview, the only son of Marjorie Barretto said he is open to reconciling with his father, Dennis Padilla.

Cristy Fermin then aired her honest thoughts about Leon’s revelation.

The veteran showbiz columnist even mentioned Marjorie, Julia and Claudia Barretto in her commentary.

“Kaya lang si Leon lang ang nagsalita. E may mga kapatid pa siya, sina Claudia at Julia. Siyempre may kani-kaniyang isip silang magkakapatid, may kani-kaniyang desisyon. Pero sabi mo nga maganda na rin na nagsimula na kay Leon.”

She further reacted, “Napakaganda niyan. Maraming maliligayahan kapag nagkasundo na silang mag-aama.”

“E si Marjorie tignan natin kung bukas na rin ang puso at isip ni Marjorie na makipagkita halfway kay Dennis Padilla. Sana naman, diba?”

Dennis Padilla is a Filipino comedian, TV host, radio broadcaster and actor. He was born on February 9, 1962 to the late actor-comedian Prudencio Baldivia and Catalina Baldivia. He is the father of popular actress Julia Barretto. Dennis already has a different family.

Leon Barretto, in ABS-CBN's news report, revealed that he is open to reconciling with his father, Dennis Padilla. The son of Dennis and Marjorie Barretto said that it will be in God's perfect timing. He also noted that he is actually for peace and underscored the importance of time. Despite the things that happened between them, Leon admitted that he still misses his father and believes that time heals all wounds.

Earlier, Leon addressed Dennis’ now-deleted posts about not receiving Father’s Day greetings from Leon, Claudia and Julia Barretto. The 19-year-old son of Dennis and Marjorie Barretto broke his silence about the said issue through an open letter. In the letter, Leon apologized to his father if he wasn't able to greet him a 'Happy Father's Day’ because it has always been an awkward day for them.
