Herlene Budol, humingi ng gabay kay Lola Bireng bago sumabak sa international pageant

- The beauty queen appealed for her grandmother's guidance once more as she embarks on her fight at the international pageantry stage

- Herlene will be competing at the Miss Planet International in Uganda on November 19

Herlene Budol took to Instagram and shared a heartwarming photo of her visit to the grave of her beloved grandmother, Nanay Virginia Budol, whom she would affectionately call as Lola Bireng.

Hipon Girl asked her lola for guidance, as she would be fighting another epic fight.

"Nay Gabayan mo ulit ako Sa panibagong laban," captioned Herlene in her post.

The beauty queen is about to compete at the international stage, where she would be representing the Philippines at Miss Planet International.

Hipon would be competing on Nov. 19 in Uganda.

In a more recent post, she showed that she is already about to depart from the Philippines for the pageant together with her manager Wilbert Tolentino.

She also showed how she was preparing for the pageant.

Herlene, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin”. She later became a host on the said program but had to leave it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

Herlene Budol was interviewed by Luis Manzano on “Luis Listens”. She revealed during the interview that she used to work as a waitress while still studying at school. The beauty queen used to get her sleep at school because she had to go straight to work after school hours. Furthermore, Herlene revealed that the bar she used to work at had an ‘80s theme and many Americans went there.

Wilbert Tolentino took to Facebook and reposted a video of the iconic Jag 3D billboard of Herlene Budol. He congratulated his talent for having accomplished such a feat. The video that he reposted was the one that was also posted by Hipon Girl on her account. The social media personality and beauty queen was very thankful for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
