During the arraignment, Vhong will be entering his plea, whether he would plead guilty, or not guilty.
Manila Bulletin reported that it would be at the "Ground Floor, Hall of Justice General Santos Avenue, Central Bicutan, Taguig City on October 11, 2022 at 1:30 in the afternoon."
Recently, the lead counsel of Deniece, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, quit as the lead counsel because of differences in the way that the case is being managed.
Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He is part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is currently hosting the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."
Cristy Fermin recently expressed her honest thoughts on the news that Atty. Ferdinand Topacio has officially quit as the lead counsel of Deniece Cornejo. He said he is disassociating and distancing himself from the prosecution of Vhong Navarro in the case filed by Deniece. During "Cristy Ferminute" on Friday, Cristy then aired her belief that the lawyer is a big loss in Deniece's camp.
Cristy also recently tackled several false claims about Vhong Navarro that have been circulating online. One of those fake news claims that Willie Revillame paid a visit to Vhong, who is currently being detained. The veteran showbiz columnist, in the latest episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” then debunked that said claim. According to Cristy, Willie did not personally go to the NBI to sympathize with Vhong.
