Bea Alonzo showed her wisdom and maturity during a press conference for Start-Up PH. In a video uploaded on the Very Wang YouTube channel, Bea was asked by a reporter how she deals with people who bash and insult her.

According to Bea, she will not deny that she sometimes gets emotionally hurt because of the bashing online. The actress said that as a human being, she has emotions and has emotional vulnerabilities.

However, Bea does not beat herself up for getting hurt emotionally because she knows it is her process of dealing with negative emotions.

As for taking criticisms, Bea said that she is open to them if they are constructive criticisms from people who truly want to help her and care for her. The Kapuso superstar said that she tries to protect herself from criticisms of people who are hateful and who just want to hurt others.

“And whenever that happens, I let myself get hurt kasi tao lang ako, hindi mo pwedeng i-shake off yun e. It’s your own process, ganun talaga ang buhay.

“But I only take the criticisms that I know will help me kasi there are noises na hindi mo naman kailangan sa buhay mo, baka makasama pa sa’yo yun.
“But yung criticisms na galing sa mga taong alam ko na they love me, mga fans ko, they are comfortable to say kung may hindi sila nagugustuhan, they say it in the most loving way," Bea said.

Bea Alonzo is one of the most famous, successful, and acclaimed actors in the Philippines. She shot to superstardom due to her movies with John Lloyd Cruz. She is currently in a romantic relationship with Dominic Roque.
