Markus Paterson recently indicated that he does not believe in the term “the one that got away” or “TOTGA” when it comes to relationships.

He made the indication during the latest episode of “Boys After Dark” when he was asked who was his TOTGA.
Markus did not mince words when the topic strayed to TOTGA, and in an expletive¬-laden statement went on to express his thoughts on the term.
“No, and I will say this with full confidence. First of all, ‘The One That Got Away,’ sa lahat ng nanonood dyan, Cam A, Cam B, whatever the f**k Cam is there, ‘The One That Got Away’ is uttermost bulls**t, okay,” Markus said.

“At the end of the day, if she got away then she wasn't the one. If she was the f**king one, you would have fought to the ends of your f**king capability to keep her in your life,” he added.
Reiterating what he said about TOTGA, the actor stressed that there’s no one for any person.
“There's no One for anyone. That's bull**it. There's no One, right?” the actor said.
“If you want to find happiness in life, you have to experience different relationships, different people, different ways of life, different cultures to find out what you really want in life,” he added further.
“It's that f**king simple. Ganun lang ka-simple. So, that's it!” Markus said, in a gesture of ending the topic about “the one that got away.”
He then said that he just imparted what he learned being the “eldest” in the group.

In a recent episode of the “Boys After Dark” vlog, Markus also revealed his preferences when it comes to a girlfriend. The actor said that he prefers someone who is “morena” and has what he calls an “island girl vibe.” He also revealed his ex-GF, a British citizen but of Greek ancestry, is like that. In the same vlog, Markus also revealed some other things he experienced when he was still a bit younger.
In a previous Instagram post, Markus Paterson made it clear that almost a year has passed since he and Janella Salvador broke up. It was only in the past few days that the two admitted about their separation but that they are happy with their lives.
