Tom Rodriguez opened up about his mental state after his highly-publicized breakup with ex-wife Carla Abellana.

In a video report by GMA’s 24 Oras, Tom assured his fans that he is feeling okay after the split.

However, he admitted to missing performing as an actor and collaborating with other artists.

Tom went to the US after the controversy between him and Carla broke out in the Philippines.

According to Tom, he is hopeful that he will come back to the country soon so that he can work again with his peers and be with his fans again.

“I really miss performing and collaborating, not just with my peers and my predecessors, but also with the audience—the rapport.

"I'm okay and I really really appreciate the sentiments. I miss all of you guys right back so I can't wait to see all of you again. Let's collaborate, let's work on something—all of us," he said.

Tom Rodriguez, whose real name is Bartolome Alberto Mott, is a Filipino actor, host, and singer. My Husband's Lover, I Can See You, I Heart Davao, and The World Between Us are just a few of the TV series in which he has starred.

Previously, Tom Rodriguez was one of the topics of discussion on Cristy Fermin’s online show, “Showbiz Now Na”. Cristy claimed that her friends in the US saw Tom in a restaurant in Washington. Cristy’s friends allegedly heard from Tom’s conversation with his family that they are planning to put up a business in the US. The showbiz columnist’s friends also alleged that Tom, who made headlines earlier because of his controversial breakup with Carla Abellana, is currently looking good.

Earlier, Ogie Diaz also shared on his YouTube channel, Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, what his source told him about Tom Rodriguez’s mental health. According to the talent manager’s source, Carla Abellana had been convincing Tom to seek professional help because of his alarming mental state.
