An emotional encounter involving actor Ruru Madrid and a snack vendor near the set of his upcoming Cinemalaya 2026 project in Tanay, Rizal has touched many netizens.

The heartwarming moment was shared by Anton Cesario through a Facebook Reels post, which showed the Primetime Action Hero talking to a woman selling maruya and vegetable lumpia close to their filming location.
According to Anton, Ruru decided to buy all of the vendor's products and later shared them with members of the production crew.
What appeared to be a simple act of generosity soon turned emotional after the woman was seen crying while talking to the actor.

When Ruru asked her why she was in tears, the vendor explained that she found him to be a kind person.
In response, the actor offered words of appreciation to the woman as well.
“Ikaw, mabait din kasi kita mo, o, madami kang napasaya na kumain ng pagkain mo,” said Ruru.
