Dawn Zulueta recently posted on her Instagram account her tribute to the late, multi-awarded actress, Cherie Gil.

She revealed that her husband, Anton Lagdameo, used to have a crush on Cherie back in his younger days.

“You were Anton’s childhood crush!” Dawn wrote in her IG post.

She also said that she “admired and emulated” the multi-awarded actress for her great talent both in film and on the live stage.

“Our dearest Cherie @macherieamour… I admired and emulated you for your great talent both in cinema and the live stage,” Dawn said.

Dawn then expressed sadness at the demise of the late actress, saying that she will definitely be missed.

“How we will miss you. RIP,” Dawn wrote.

Cherie died of cancer on August 5. The news sent shockwaves to the Pinoy entertainment world.

Dawn Zulueta is an award-winning actress, endorser, and host. Some of her famous recent films are Love Me Tomorrow and The Love Affair. She tied the knot with Antonio Ernesto "Anton" Floirendo Lagdameo Jr., a politician and businessman, on December 27, 1997.

In May after the elections, Dawn took to Instagram to congratulate president-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. She also uploaded a photo, where she is with BBM and it has gone viral quickly. As of this writing, Dawn's post has already gained more than 70,000 likes on the said social media platform. It also received numerous comments from netizens, who also congratulated BBM.
