Sources ni Cristy Fermin, sinabing kumakanta raw si Jake Zyrus sa maliliit na bar sa US

Cristy Fermin, during the latest episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” shared a supposed update she heard about Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice Pempengco.

The veteran showbiz columnist said that according to her sources who have been living in the US for decades, Jake usually sings in small public houses in America.

“Ang balita naman ng mga kababayan natin na ilang dekada nang naninirahan sa America, si Charice daw ay nagpe-perform sa maliliit na mga pub houses, bar, ganu'n. Kasi nga, wala naman talagang kumukuha sa kanya e, 'di ba?” Cristy shared.

Cristy’s co-host Romel Chika then reacted, “Samantalang kakapanood ko lang ng YouTube, mga audi-audition niyang pinapalakpakan siya ng bonggang-bongga.”

Nanay Cristy also could not help but recall Jake’s performances when he was still Charice.

“Sus, ako nga paulit-ulit ko 'yung kay Ophra, kay Ellen DeGeneres, hanggang sa inalagaan na siya ni nu'ng producer. Ang dami niyang nakadwelo, pati kay Celine Dion, isinama pa siya. Sinayang ni Charice 'yon,” said Cristy.

Jake Zyrus is a well-known singer and songwriter in the Philippines. He was previously known as Charice Pempengco, the girl who made international TV appearances because of her singing prowess.

Recently, Jake Zyrus’ video where he can be seen easily singing high notes like he did during his Charice Pempengco days has gone viral. The popular singer seems to be having a good time at what appeared to be a private party where loud cheers can be heard.
