Cristy Fermin, naiyak sa dahilan ng pagbe-baby talk ni Andrea Brillantes: “Ninakawan siya ng pagiging bata”

Cristy Fermin, Morly Alinio and Romel Chika recently had a discussion about Andrea Brillantes, who recently opened up in an interview with Karen Davila about losing her childhood and being her family’s breadwinner at a young age.

In the latest episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” Cristy first recalled the time when Andrea became trending due to a video of her baby talking.

“Isa pang ikina-bwisit ng publiko at nating tatlo, aminin natin 'yan, 'wag tayong magkaila... 'yung kanyang pagbe-baby talk,” said Cristy.

The veteran showbiz columnist then continued, “Alam mo kung ano ang dahilan niya? Ninakawan siya ng pagiging bata.

“Ay, kung alam mo lang, umiyak ako do'n,” Nanay Cristy admitted.

"Naisip ko tuloy na, oo nga naman, hayaan niyo naman sana 'yung bagets na ranasin niya 'yung pagiging bata niya," Romel reacted.

"Yung 'yung mahirap, Ate Cristy, 'yung maagang nagtrabaho ang bata. Hindi niya naranasang tumakbo sa daan, hindi niya naranasan na makipagkaibigan sa kapwa niya edad," said Morly.

Furthermore, Cristy shared her thoughts on the young actress’ revelations.

“Sabi niya, 'Kasi po, feeling ko naagawan ako ng pagkabata ko.' Hindi ko po na-enjoy ang pagiging bata ko. Tsaka bigla na lang po siyang pumapasok, hindi ko po pinaplano.'”

“Ibig sabihin, naka-psych 'yan e. Parang gusto niyang bumalik sa kabataan na inagaw sa kanya. Na dapat noon niya na sinasabi 'yon pero nawalan siya ng pagkakataon.”

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.”

The actress debunked the belief of some regarding her true image and character. In an interview with Karen Davila, the actress explained that people see what they wanted to perceive. She said that even her friends tell her she doesn’t deserve to be called what others refer to her as.

During the same interview, Andrea revealed that she always takes three wallets with her wherever she goes. She said of the three wallets, there is one she calls a ‘charity wallet’ where she puts her P100, P50, and P20 bills. The actress then explained her purpose in calling the wallet as such and why she puts in the said denominations.
