Ella Cruz, 25, has stirred buzz on social media once again after she was featured in Darryl Yap's latest video on his channel.

On YouTube, KAMI learned that the director uploaded a 4-minute video where Ella could be seen talking to Senator Imee Marcos.

In the video, Ella and Sen. Imee discussed the actress's controversial "history is like tsismis" statement.

At the beginning of the video clip, Ella asked the senator if her statement was wrong since she never said that "history is tsismis."

"Sen., mali po ba yung sinabi ko na 'history is like tsismis?' Di ko naman sinabi na history is tsismis. Tapos, diyan na lang sila nag-focus, hindi na sa paliwanag."

Upon hearing her question, Sen. Imee said that she actually watched her interview.

"Napanood ko yung interview mo eh. Tinanong ka bilang estudyante, tapos tinanong ka bilang artista. Hindi ka naman sumagot bilang historian," Sen. Imee remarked.

Following this statement, Ella could not help but agree, saying that she never claimed to be smart anyway.

"Exactly, Sen. Isa pa, hindi ko naman sinabi na, matalino ako, di rin naman ako nagmamagaling," the actress said.
