Ogie Diaz, 52, has recently reacted to Ella Cruz's viral and controversial statement about history which she said "is like tsismis" during an interview.

In their latest 'Showbiz Update' vlog, KAMI learned that Ogie and Mama Loi gave their honest thoughts and opinions about the current issue.

The talent manager also gave a few words of advice to Ella, reminding the actress that some people got hurt with her statement.

During the vlog, Ogie reacted first and said that perhaps Ella does not "feel" the subject of History back in the day.

"Baka naman yun lang ang nasagap ni Ella o baka hindi lang niya masyadong feel ang history subject," the talent manager said. Continuing further, Ogie advised, "Kaya nako, Ella, anak dapat ay pagnilay-nilayin muna bago magsalita tungkol sa history. Maraming nasasaktan at ang nasasaktan, anak, ay yung mga naging part ng history ng Pilipinas. Wag mo nang baguhin, jusko gagawa na naman ng bagong libro."

Upon hearing his statement, Loi also gave his opinion about the matter, expressing his thoughts as to why some historians were offended.

"Tsaka kasi, nay, diba kaya rin nao-offend yung iba, lalo na yung mga historians, kasi nga parang syempre, parang binelittle naman nung statement na yun ni Ella Cruz yung kanilang propesyon, yung kanilang expertise," Loi said.

Ogie Diaz is a comedian and a talent manager who once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he comments on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.

According to Ogie, Kris does not mind posting selfies she took, showing her current state. Furthermore, the talent manager also defended Kris from her bashers.

Meanwhile, Ogie and Loi have talked about Dennis Padilla's viral since-deleted posts. Previously, Dennis called out his kids—Julia, Claudia, and Leon for not greeting him on Father's Day. Since then, the three, as well as Marjorie Barretto, have kept their silence about the issue. However, Ogie revealed that he got the chance to talk to Marjorie about it.
