Arjo Atayde, 31, has earned praises from netizens and local celebrities after he shared the first six bills that he filed in Congress on his official Instagram account.

In his viral post, KAMI learned that the versatile actor also got the opportunity to meet with Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City.

Furthermore, Arjo also mentioned that he is looking forward to serving the people in the next three years as a first-time Congressman.

Base on the infographic that Arjo shared, the actor-turne-politician filed bills which focused on the health sector, as well as the entertainment industry.

Among these bills was the 'Eddie Garcia Bill' named after the late veteran actor who passed away in 2019 when he suffered an injury while filming on set.

Meanwhile, in the comment section of his post, fellow celebrities lauded Arjo for being hardworking.

"Ang galing talaga ni Cong. Arjo. Work mode agad," Bayani Agbayani wrote while Ria Atayde, his sister, said, "Proud of you, Cong."

Arjo Atayde is one of the most versatile actors in the industry. Previously, he won Best Actor at the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards for his role in “Bagman”. He is also the son of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez and the boyfriend of Maine Mendoza.
