Nadine Lustre had no qualms in saying that she is still proud of VP Leni Robredo for still doing what she can do to help despite having lost her bid for the presidency in the May 2022 elections.

The actress also admitted that it took a bit of time before she was able to accept the results of the elections.
She was disappointed but respects the decision of everyone.
"Honestly, who wouldn’t be sad naman di ba? I was also a bit disappointed. It took me a while before I got to like accept it just because of course she is someone that you believe in," said Nadz.

Despite this, Nadine said that she is just happy that VP Leni is still continuing her efforts and that she is still there to stand by her.
"Grabe ‘yun. Naalala ko nung election I was nervous for a couple of days before and after so it was really stressful but at the end of the day I guess it is what it is but I’m really happy that Madam Leni is not taking a break," the actress stated.
"She is doing whatever she can and I’m still here to stand by her," Nadz said.
