TNT Boys now eliminated from The World’s Best; netizens get emotional

The TNT Boys got eliminated from “The World’s Best” despite pulling off a performance that wowed and received another standing ovation from the judges.
KAMI learned that the Pinoy trio sang the hit song “Flashlight” by Jessie J during the Group Music Championships round.
Mackie Empuerto, Keifer Sanchez, and Francis Concepcion went with their “flawless” harmony and belting, which evidently stunned the studio audience and the netizens.
After the trending song number, American judge Drew Barrymore expressed that the boys did not fail to reach or even surpass the high standards of being the world’s best.
She and the other American jurors gave an average score of 49 to the TNT Boys while the other group called Naturally 7 received 43 points out of 50.
However, when the votes of the other judges were added, the singing trio only accumulated 67 points as opposed to the 75 that the veteran acapella group got.
Francis, meanwhile, could not contain his emotions as he was seen shedding tears while the show’s host was giving his farewell message to them.
“You did do well. Every single person who has watched you perform on this show, you have moved them and changed them,” James Corden quipped.
“This is the start of an incredible journey…” he added.

A lot of netizens also admitted to getting emotional upon hearing that the boys are already eliminated from the show.
