Ina Raymundo opened up to KAMI about her thoughts on many Filipinos, including celebrities, taking shots at each other for having different political views.

According to Ina, people should learn to respect each other’s political views because everyone sees things differently – not only in politics but in all aspects of life.

She said that peace and respect should be prioritized over political and religious debates and arguments.

“In all aspects of life, iba-iba ang views ng tao kaya kalma lang. Peace and respect lang,” Ina shared.

When asked how she reacts when there are political or religious disagreements in her family and group of friends, Ina revealed that she tries to change the topic whenever that happens.

The actress explained that no matter how close two people are, debates and arguments will happen if they focus on their opposing views on politics or religion.

“Number one yang politics or religion, try to avoid fighting over it. Kasi kahit gaano pa kayo ka-close ng family or friend, pag magkaiba kayo, you will just end up in a debate, not in a good way.

“Kaya ako yung tao na, ‘change topic.’ I’m that person na kapag nagiging usapan na yung opposing views sa politics o religion, ‘change topic.’
“Ayaw ko kasi ng negativity or any bad vibes.
“But I’m so happy that my sisters and I, my family, we all share the same views politically and pati sa religion kaya super good vibes.
“Ang dad ko lang ang iba kaya pag nag-start na, ‘Okay, change topic.’
“Sa friends naman, meron akong mga friends na iba ang views, kaya ‘change topic’ lang palagi.
“Ganun lang ka-simple, two words ‘Change topic,’” Ina told KAMI.

Ina Raymundo is an actress and a commercial model. She got married to Ukrainian-Canadian businessman Brian Poturnak in 2003. The couple has five children – Erika, Jakob, Mikaela, Anika and Minka.

The actress went viral after she uploaded a heartwarming video featuring three of her children. The viral video shows her eldest child, Erika, emotionally saying goodbye to her siblings. The kids got emotional while saying their goodbyes because Erika has to leave for college. Ina said that she and the rest of her family will miss Erika and her “craziness.”

Previously, Ina posted a throwback photo on her Instagram account. She was wearing a long white dress that really depicts what her teen years were. The actress was really cute, and her beauty is quite evident even when the picture is already old. Today, the actress is happily married to Brian Portunak and they've got several lovely children.
