Kit Thompson, 25, has been released from his detention after he posted bail for charges related to the alleged physical abuse his girlfriend, Ana Jalandoni, had suffered from.
Previously, Kit and Ana made headlines when the latter sought the help of one of her friends on social media.
Following this news, KAMI learned that the actor posted bail of Php 72,000 and was released at around 5 p.m. on Monday, March 21.

According to the report done by GMA News Online, Tagaytay City Chief of Police Police Lt. Col. Rolando Baula said the actor was released in a good condition.

"He was released in good and physical condition. He bailed for P72,000," Baula said.
It is worth recalling that on March 19, the Philippine National Police filed charges against the actor for violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act, as per CNN.
Following this news, Kit was reported to have undergone inquest proceedings at the Tagaytay City Prosecutor’s Office, according to ABS-CBN News.
