Pauleen Luna has never been involved in any scandal or malicious intrigue during her younger years, which she owes perhaps to her good upbringing, according to veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis.

Nay Lolit said that Mommy Chat, the mom of Pauleen, is very strict with her daughter, especially when she was still young.
The showbiz columnist said that seeing Pauleen as a contented wife would always remind her of Mommy Chat Luna.
“Pag nakikita ko si Pauleen Luna na very happy as Mrs. Vic Sotto, naalala ko ang mother niyang si Mommy Chat Luna,” Nay Lolit said.

She revealed that Mommy Chat was very strict when it comes to Pauleen, particularly during her younger years.
The veteran showbiz columnist believed this could perhaps be the reason why Pauleen has never been involved in any scandal or intrigue.
“Talagang ang mga anak na babae dapat sumunod sa wisdom ng kanilang ina, gaya ng pagbabantay ni Mommy Chat sa anak na si Pauleen. Talagang naging mahigpit si Mommy Chat kay Pauleen kaya naman siguro hindi tulad ng ibang kabataan artista hindi nasangkot sa intriga o anuman scandal si Pauleen,” she said.
Nay Lolit also said that it is perhaps because of this that Pauleen is now enjoying a contented life as a mother and housewife to Vic Sotto.
She said that the credit belongs to Mommy Chat because of the way she raised the celebrity mom.
“Kaya hayan, tignan mo, maganda ang naging buhay may asawa, mabait na ina at talagang contented housewife si Pauleen Luna, kaya naman puwede mo ibigay ang credit kay Mommy Chat. Now, tahimik na si Mommy Chat dahil nakita niya na nasa magandang kamay ang kanyang anak na si Pauleen as Mrs Vic Sotto, at ang kanyang mahal na apo na si Talitha. Bongga di bah!” Nay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
In a previous post, Nay Lolit said Pauleen appears to be happy and content even if she’s now regarded as a homebody. The veteran showbiz columnist made this remark in one of her recent posts on social media. Nay Lolit also said that she can see the contentment and inner happiness in the TV presenter and celebrity mom’s face. She said that perhaps women become more beautiful when they’re happy.
The veteran showbiz columnist also shared her own thoughts about Coleen Garcia on Instagram. According to the veteran columnist, it was cute that Coleen brought her baby with her to the set. She said that indeed, it is quite difficult for a mother to leave her baby for a long time, after all, there is a yaya who would watch her baby while she is shooting. Lolit also said that it is safer to feel for a mother if her baby is near her and also added that a baby at the set is really a lucky charm.
