Kris Aquino, in a post on her Instagram account, expressed her gratitude to Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson for all the good words he said about the actress’ brother, the late former President Noynoy Aquino.
The actress said she was able to watch the interview of Jessica Soho with senator and presidential candidate, Sen. Ping Lacson, with his statement repeated over at a news outlet.
“From watching Jessica Soho's interviews then seeing his statement repeated sa INQUIRER, I'd like to personally THANK Sen. Ping Lacson for making me feeling good yet also further enlightened,” Kris wrote in her post.
She then mentioned the particular quote that the news outlet took from the interview of the senator with Jessica.

“He was quoted saying this about my brother, Noy: ‘Sa mga nakaraang pangulo natin, talagang siya ang hinahangaan ko kasi hindi siya corrupt, `yun ang pagkakakilala ko sa kanya dahil nakatrabaho ko siya,’ Lacson said when asked whom he admires among all the former presidents,” the Queen of All Media wrote.
In her post, the actress further quoted Sen. Ping explaining why he admired Kris’ brother, PNoy.
“Sen. Lacson went on to say, ‘Pinangunahan niya yung 'no wang-wang policy'; symbolic, napakasimple, pero napaka-symbolic. Ibig sabihin, walang entitlement,’ he added,” Kris wrote in her post, adding that she took this particular statement from newsinfo.inquirer.net.
The actress then added a postscript, as if to inform the senator, that the values shown by PNoy are the same values he saw in their mother, the late and former President Cory Aquino.
“May konting P.S. lang po, Sen. Ping, those values you cited siempre nakita po ni Noy sa unang Aquino na naging presidente, our mom, PCCA, President (Maria) Corazon Cojuangco Aquino na nagpatuloy nung sinimulan nung BSA JR- our dad, Ninoy. Noy was the 3rd. This FINALLY gives me the chance to clarify, for Noy to be the III, walang Cojuangco in his birth certificate, his name had to be EXACTLY like our dad's name, kaya S and not C. He's Benigno Simeon "Noy/Noynoy" Aquino III,” Kris explained.

She is also famous for her roles in several horror films like Feng Shui and Sukob, the highest-grossing Pinoy film in 2006.
Recently, Kris took time to post on social media to inform her fans about her health condition. Krissy said that some of her doctors have realized they overlooked something about her ailment while treating her. The Queen of All Media said that her doctors revisited her family’s health history, including that of her mom and dad, as well as her grandparents. The actress also expressed thanks for the flowers, balloons, fruits, cakes, and other foodstuffs sent by her fans and supporters, though she said that what she needed right now are prayers.
The Queen of All Media also took to Instagram and made a new post where she asked everyone not to spend more money on her. Kris felt that it was "nakakahiya" and that she feels insensitive to the needs of others. She stressed that she knows how much food costs and flowers are certainly expensive during Valentine Season. Krissy then appealed to everyone to give gifts to others and to simply pray for one person whom she did not yet reveal the identity.
