Lolit Solis, 74, recently took to social media to reveal the "truth" behind Willie Revillame's show and contract with GMA-7 coming to an end.
Previously, on Saturday, February 5, netizens were stunned when GMA-7 released a statement about Wowowin airing until Friday, February 11.
KAMI also learned that the Kapuso network revealed in their official statement that the TV host's contract is "set to end on the 15th of this month."

On Instagram, however, Lolit said that it is unfair on Willie's end that some people are saying that the latter left the Kapuso network.

"Unfair naman sabihin na umalis si Willie Revillame sa GMA-7, Salve. The truth is hindi ni-renew ang contract niya, in fact nagbigay statement ang GMA-7 na wala ng contract sa kanila si Willie kaya wish nila ito ng good luck sa anumang endeavor na papasukin niya. Walang paghahabol na naganap, walang alok na ibinigay, basta end of contract, iyon na."
According to Lolit, it is GMA-7 who ended their contract with Willie and that it was the network who decided not to renew his contract.
"Palagay ko nga hindi akalain ni Willie Revillame na wala ng alok para sa renewal kaya hindi nagawa na makipag ayos muna sa kung saan niya gusto lumipat. Siguro nga ikinabigla ng lahat iyon mga pangyayari, pero ang maliwanag, tinapos ng GMA-7 ang kontrata kay Willie at walang alok na bago kaya hayun, kailangan maghanap ng bagong bahay ang programa niya."
