Ogie Diaz, 52, recently reacted to the controversial comment of Vice Ganda about being a 'Marites' during one of the episodes of their show, It's Showtime.

Previously, Lolit Solis made a post about Vice and the alleged "horror stories" surrounding him on the set of the show.

Following this news, KAMI learned that Vice made a statement about 'Marites' which went viral all over social media.

In their latest Showbiz Update, both Mama Loi and Ogie reacted to the comment, with Ogie hoping that Vice will not generalize.

"Una sa lahat, opinyon ni Vice Ganda yun, so igalang natin yun. Pero sa totoo lang, lahat naman tayo marites. Lahat tayo, hindi lang si Vice. Lahat tayo may pagka-Marites," he began.

Halfway through the video, Ogie hoped that if the issue is only about certain people, one should focus on that person only.

"Pero kay Vice kasi, siguro sana hindi gine-generalize ni Vice. Pwedeng kung ang issue ay kay Lolit, kay Lolit. Kung ang issue ay kay Ate Cristy, kay Ate Cristy. Kung ang issue ay kay Ogie Diaz, kay Ogie Diaz lang. Kasi, kumbaga, hindi naman lahat ng Marites eh nag-iimbento ng balita, mali ang impormasyong nakalap."

In the end, Ogie reiterated his thoughts about generalizing and even suggested what Vice could have said regarding the issue.

"Kaya sana hindi gine-generalize ang pagiging Marites. Kung ang issue lang ay kay Ate Lolit, sabihin na lang kunwari ni Vice na, 'Nakakapangit ang maging Lolit Solis. Dahil si Lolit Solis, ito ang ginawa.'"

In the video, Ogie also mentioned Beatrice Pia White, who was recently arrested on charges of estafa. Upon hearing this, Mama Loi frankly asked Ogie what some netizens were asking regarding Pia's arrest. The talent manager then denied being involved in the arrest and talked about one's destiny and fate.
