A Manila Times report describe Angelica’s character in the show as a feisty and quirky doctor who hosts a talk show that feature irreverent sexual advice for couples.

“Si Doc Kara, siya ang sexual guru. So ang concept ng show ay para siyang mga Margie Holmes noong unang panahon, so isa yan sa mga ni-research ko na pinagbasehan ng character,” Angelica said.

“So may mga ‘may mga sex problems or, sexual struggles na pinagdaraanan ang mga letter senders niya. Then siyempre intertwine ang mga sex problems na nangyayari rin sa buhay ni Doc Kara na napakakulay rin naman talaga ng buhay niya,” the actress said.

She also said the series was challenging in the sense that she had to memorize seventeen pages of script with most of it requiring her to do monologues.

Siyempre lahat sila naka suporta,” the actress said.

The original series started airing last December on WeTV.

Last December, Angelica also talked about the funny experience she had with Maris Racal, Elisse Joson, and Barbie Imperial and their funny time at the elevator. They were dressed elegantly in gowns and they were wondering whether the event would be at the 9th floor or at Studio 9. It would seem that one of them pressed the 9th floor when it was supposed to be at Studio 9. The four ended up in a hilarious situation and Maris was able to capture it all on video.
