As Nikki Grace, Janella acted as the daughter of a rich widower and businessman, Engr. Richard Lim, who owned an airplane maintenance firm.
When Jodi Sta. Maria, who portrayed Maya dela Rosa in the TV series, entered their lives, Nikki Grace was hesitant to accept her in their home, though later she warmed up to Maya.

In her recent post on Instagram, the actress expressed how much she missed being Nikki Grace.
“Awww I miss being Nikki Grace,” Janella wrote in her caption.
Today, the actress has been selected to portray the role of Valentina, the archrival of superheroine Darna.
The TV series is set to air this month and stars Jane De Leon as Darna.

Janella Maxine Desiderio Salvador, or simply Janella Salvador as she’s known in the entertainment world, is a Filipino actress and singer. She was born on March 30, 1998 in Cebu, though she spent most of her childhood and teenage days in San Juan City. Her parents, Jenine Desiderio and Juan Miguel Salvador, were both famous singers and songwriters. Janella got introduced to showbiz at a young age, performing in various venues like Meralco Theater and also guesting on shows like Eat Bulaga. She rose to fame after portraying the role of Nikki Grace Lim in Be Careful With My Heart.
After it was announced that Janella got the role for Valentina in the most recent version of Mars Ravelo’s ‘Darna,’ celebrities immediately sent her congratulatory messages.
