Bea Alonzo, 34, has hilariously admitted that she once ran away from her fans because she thought she was getting “punked.”
On her official YouTube channel, KAMI learned that the Kapuso actress recently posted yet another vlog featuring her “first everything.”
During the viral vlog update, Bea was asked when was the “first time you realized that you have fans.”

Upon hearing this question, Bea began to share the hilarious backstory behind her fans back in the day.

“Ay may funny story yan. Kasi I was already doing ‘Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay’ and remember that time, there was no social media so I wasn’t really aware kung may mga nanonood ba sa akin. Alam nilang may ratings but hindi mo naman kasi malalaman kung ikaw yung pinanood or if they are rooting for you, or if they like you or not.”
According to Bea, the first time she realized she had supporters, she actually ran away from them.
“Pagdating ko sa ASAP, a month later of doing the show, kasi na-extend yung character ko. Nakita ko may tarpaulins, may fans na ako, tapos nung umpisa… kasi nung time na yun, uso pa yung mga victim, yung mga punked, ganyan. Akala ko nung pinakita nila, kasi pumunta sila sa dressing room ko, ang daming fans. Akala ko I was being punked so I ran away, akala ko joke.”
