Sunshine Cruz willingly explained to the public the real reason why her gorgeous daughters do not use the surname of their father as screen name.
KAMI learned that the veteran actress was interviewed by the media during the launching of a marketing company where she serves as one of the endorsers.

She stated that the decision for her children to use “Cruz” instead of “Montano” was actually from Arnold Vegafria, their talent manager.
Sunshine also revealed that the said handler consulted Cesar Montano first about the move and the award-winning actor did not oppose it.
“Huwag kayong magagalit sa akin. Desisyon yan ni Arnold Vegafria. Kasi nga yung careers nila, they’re more into singing,” she explained.
“We all know that the Cruzes are mga musicians talaga. So diba pag Cruz, like si Donna Cruz, Yraztorza yan before, pero she also used Cruz. So pag musician kasi, it’s an advantage for them as musicians,” she added.
