Gab Valenciano, the son of singer-composer Gary Valenciano, took to Instagram and posted about his stay at the hospital, including the diagnosis of the doctors.

The actor-singer said he was subjected to some health tests and he already have the results in his hands.

“Majority of the results came in and by the grace of God, are normal; some even better than expected,” Gab wrote.

There is, however, a bit of bad news as his doctors said he is already in the pre-diabetic stage.

“Unfortunately, I am now a pre-diabetic and it is important to not just take care of my mental health, but physical health as well,” the actor-singer said.

He said that over the weekend, he started thinking about where he is in his life and the kind of adjustments he needed to be the best he can be moving forward.

Gab also said that he would have to implement major changes in his both the personal and professional aspect of his life so he could be healthy in both.

The actor-singer then thanked all his doctors, nurses and staff who took care of him.

He also expressed his gratitude to his parents and his family, as well as his Genesis family and friends who never stopped praying for him and regularly checked on him.

Gab promised to be a better and wiser version of himself in the coming days.

Gab Valenciano is the son of OPM legend Gary Valenciano. In 2014, he got married to Tricia Centenera in a civil wedding in the US and two more times in Tagaytay and Boracay in 2015. Unfortunately, the two separated due to Gab’s alleged cheating. He also experienced and overcame mental health issues, inspiring many people who are also struggling with the same issues.

Gab recently expressed his full support for the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan. He is supporting his uncle Kiko not only because he is a relative but also because of his love for the country. The star added that he will support VP Leni because she has the heart and passion for serving Filipinos. Gary Valenciano’s son also expressed his hope that God will bless Kiko and Leni’s alliance and the entire nation.

The actor-singer's dad, Gary Valenciano, recently reacted to his son’s post discussing the latter’s ongoing battle with depression. The singer took to Instagram to pen a lengthy post conferring his thoughts on Gab’s struggles. He said that he feels the need to share his son’s post so that anyone who is also struggling with mental illness can read it also. Gary likewise included in his social media post his uplifting message to Gab.
