“Maraming challenges. I had to do what an actor does and to put your problems aside, you’re responsible for hundreds of people on the set,” Jake said.

He also pointed out that if he won’t go to work because of his troubles with the police, there would be a lot of people who might be out of work.

“Umaasa sila eh, kasi di ba, if I don’t make it to work then ang daming taong hindi makakapagtrabaho at makakapagpakain sa pamilya nila,” the actor explained.

Jake Cuenca is an actor, model, and endorser in the Philippines. He is currently in a relationship with actress and beauty queen, Kylie Verzosa.

The actor has openly admitted that he still feels traumatized from his police chase incident. Previously, Jake was said to be arrested after allegedly hitting one of the police’s cars. In his exclusive interview with MJ Felipe, Jake clarified that he continued driving as he was being chased by “unmarked cars.” Despite his experience, the 33-year-old star still wants to extend his help to the delivery rider that was shot by a stray bullet.

The actor has also found allies in the showbiz industry and one of them is Paulo Avelino. Paulo took the cudgels for his friend Jake and defended him against so many bashers. In a Twitter post, the actor noted that if he was in the position of Jake, he would have done the same thing. He said that he would not stop for anyone shooting at his vehicle wearing civilian clothing. The actor added that if somebody is shooting at him, he would either shoot back or run for his life.
