Gretchen Barretto took to social media to react to the big news that her only child, Dominique Cojuangco, got engaged to her boyfriend Michael Hearn.

She also shared her shock that she will be planning her daughter’s wedding at age 51. The actress admitted that she is clueless about planning weddings since she has not done it before.

However, her partner Tonyboy Cojuangco advised her to let Dominique enjoy the process of planning her wedding. Gretchen's reaction to Dominique's engagement is accompanied by a video of her doing some poses while wearing an elegant pink dress.
“soon to be the Mum in law of @mj.hearn. who would have thought i will be planning my daughter @dominique wedding at age 51.
“i dont know where & how to start ( i never had one & never planned one ever). Tony has reminded me multiple times to allow our child to enjoy the process of planning,” Gretchen wrote on Instagram.
Gretchen Barretto is a well-known actress in the Philippines and the sister of actors Claudine and Marjorie Barretto. She has been in a relationship with tycoon Tonyboy Cojuangco for almost three decades now but the latter is still legally married to Denise Yabut, his first wife.
In a previous report by KAMI, Gretchen’s daughter Dominique made her parents proud with her great achievement. Dominique earned her second degree, Merchandising and Marketing, and graduated with flying colors at a California-based school.
The veteran actress also went viral after pictures of her niece, Julia Barretto, and Bea Alonzo were compared online. Gretchen shocked netizens when she said that she preferred Bea’s photo. Gretchen is in an ongoing conflict with Julia’s mom, Marjorie.
