Talent manager and entertainment vlogger Ogie Diaz has a message for people who have borrowed money from him, as well as those who are planning to ask him for a loan amid the current economic difficulties.

In a Story posted on Friday, October 30, Ogie shared that he has become more diligent about collecting payments from people who previously borrowed money from him. He pointed out that some borrowers may have forgotten their obligations or assumed that he did not need the money yet.

"Sa lungkot ng ekonomiya ngayon, sinisipagan ko ngayong maningil sa mga naunang pinautang ko na hindi ko alam kung nakalimot lang magbayad o iniisip na di ko pa naman kailangan, kaya hindi ako naniningil."

He also addressed those who are planning to approach him for financial assistance, explaining that he would rather decline such requests for now. He added that he is also prepared to lose friends who might take offense when he refuses to lend them money.

"Kaya sa mga umuutang at yung nagbabalak pa lang akong lapitan para umutang, pasensiya na kung pass muna, nagbabawas din po ako ng friends na magtatampo dahil lang natanggihan ko."

Toward the end of his post, Ogie emphasized that he would rather have disagreements with people over his refusal to lend money than risk losing money because of unpaid loans.

"Okay na yung ngayon pa lang, magkagalit na tayo kesa magkagalit tayo pero nakuhaan mo naman ako ng pera."

He reminded the public that camcording is prohibited by law and emphasized the importance of respecting cinema rules. He also questioned whether the alleged violators, rather than the film's cast, should be the ones getting haunted. The Philippine adaptation of the Thai horror-comedy, starring Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene, premiered in cinemas nationwide on October 14.

Earlier, Ogie also defended Gary Valenciano following the singer's interview with President Bongbong Marcos, which received criticism from some online viewers. The talent manager shared his thoughts on the negative reactions and pointed out that those who were not interested in the interview could simply watch other content. He also questioned the intense criticism directed at Gary over his decision to participate in the interview.
