The talent manager and entertainment vlogger shared his thoughts on the reactions to the interview in a post on Threads.

Ogie reminded those who did not like the interview that they had the option not to watch it, pointing out that there are many other things they can choose to watch instead.

He wrote, “Pag di nyo type yung interview, wag nyo panoorin. Andami-daming mapapanood, bubuwisitin nyo lang ang sarili nyo. #Choosehappiness.”

He also questioned what he described as excessive judgment toward Gary, suggesting that the veteran singer should not be expected to apologize simply because some viewers were not pleased with the interview.
