The amount provided context for why the latest bill was worth celebrating. From a previous monthly range of ₱5,000 to ₱7,000, Jim reported receiving a bill with nothing to pay for the first time.

Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity that can power household appliances. Using the electricity they generate can help reduce the amount a home draws from its electricity provider. However, savings vary depending on the system’s size, available sunlight, household electricity use, and local billing arrangements. Installing solar panels does not automatically guarantee a zero electricity bill for every household.
