“Hindi dahil madali. Kundi dahil may mga bagay na mas pinipili mong panghawakan kaysa sa takot,” the celebrity added.

Kenneth admitted that there were difficult moments throughout his cancer journey. However, he also found several reasons to remain thankful.

The former “That’s My Bae” grand winner then offered a meaningful reminder to people who may also be dealing with their own personal battles.

“I’ve had difficult days, but I’ve also had so many reasons to be grateful,” he shared.
“And if you’re going through something of your own, I hope you remember that what you’re facing right now is only part of your story. Not the whole story,” he continued.

Rather than approaching the next part of his treatment with fear, Kenneth said he was ready to face it with determination.

“Almost done with Cycle 2. And honestly? I’m ready and excited for Cycle 3. Bring it on,” he declared.

The update came after he revealed that he had shaved his head while undergoing chemotherapy. His posts have given followers a glimpse of both the physical changes and emotional challenges that have accompanied his treatment.

Kenneth first publicly disclosed his testicular cancer diagnosis in February 2026. At the time, he said he needed urgent surgery to prevent the illness from spreading.

In a later feature on “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” the actor recalled noticing a lump and changes in one of his testicles. His partner, Mhae, encouraged him to seek medical attention.

Doctors eventually confirmed his condition, and he underwent surgery to remove the affected testicle. He later began chemotherapy as part of his continuing treatment, according to previous GMA News reports.

Kenneth Medrano became a nationally recognized performer after winning the “That’s My Bae” segment of “Eat Bulaga” in 2015. His dancing ability, natural charisma, and commanding presence on stage quickly attracted viewers and helped him develop a dedicated following. The victory became an important turning point in his entertainment career, allowing him to establish himself as a performer. Like Kenneth, other well-known personalities have also recently received public attention as they have shared their own experiences with cancer.

Kenneth previously disclosed that doctors had surgically removed one of his testicles after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. The 2015 “That’s My Bae” grand winner explained that he does not feel embarrassed about undergoing the procedure because it ultimately played a crucial role in saving his life. The tumor was found in his right testicle, which doctors subsequently removed. Kenneth also revealed that his medical team continues to monitor his condition through follow-up examinations and tests to determine whether the cancer has spread elsewhere.

Kenneth asked for financial assistance from those who were in a position to help, but he also appealed to people who could not donate to remember him in their prayers. His request reflected the broader support he has received as he continues confronting cancer and undergoing treatment.
