Filipina actress Sofia Andres recently opened up about her ongoing dental journey, sharing photos from her visit to the clinic of Dr. Steve Mark Gan of GAOC Clinic.

In a social media post, Sofia candidly discussed why she decided to finally undergo a medical procedure for her teeth after putting it off for a long time.
The actress admitted that she has not always been comfortable with her teeth and had been planning to address them for years. However, her busy career repeatedly took priority, making it difficult for her to find the time to focus on herself.
“As some of you may know, I haven’t always had the nicest or easiest set of teeth. I’ve been planning to finally do something about it for the longest time, but somehow work always came first. 😅” Sofia wrote.

She described herself as a workaholic and said that even taking time away from work for recovery is particularly difficult for her.
“Anyone who knows me knows I’m a workaholic, and staying even for recovery is probably the hardest part for me,” she shared.
Despite the challenge, Sofia said the experience has reminded her that taking care of herself deserves the same attention she gives to the things she works hard for.
“But this is also my reminder that taking care of ourselves is just as important as everything else we work so hard for. Self-care is a must, and now it’s finally time for me to focus on mine. 🤍”
Sofia also revealed one of the more significant details of her treatment. According to the actress, she has already had eight teeth extracted because her mouth is simply too small to accommodate a complete set of teeth.
“Throughout this journey, I’ve already had 8 teeth extracted because my mouth is simply too small to accommodate a complete set of teeth. It hasn’t been the easiest process, but I know it’ll all be worth it,” she said.
The actress expressed her appreciation for Dr. Gan, whom she credited for consistently encouraging and reassuring her throughout the process. She also thanked him for guiding her through each stage of her dental journey.
“Thank you to my dentist, Dr. Gan, for always encouraging me, reassuring me, and guiding me every step of the way,” Sofia wrote.
Sofia also mentioned her daughter, saying that her “little one” was there to support her during the experience.
“And of course, my little one for being there with me. 🥹”
Her post ended on an optimistic note as she shifted her focus toward recovery and the next stages of her treatment.
“Now we heal. I’m so excited for this journey and for what’s to come,” she wrote.
Sofia Andres is a well-known Filipina actress and model whose entertainment career began when she worked as a commercial model at a young age.
