Boy then asked, “Kailangan mag-convert?” To which the actor responded. “Yes, Tito Boy. Ganun po sa amin.”
The conversation then turned to Rere Madrid’s husband, basketball player Kai Sotto, whom Boy noted is also an INC member. Ruru confirmed that Kai has been a member of the church since childhood and that his family is active in the faith.
“Handog siya (Kai). Simula pagkabata and very active po ang pamilya niya.”
Ruru also explained that some INC members are advised to consider dating fellow members of the church. However, he acknowledged that finding a partner within the faith can be more challenging in the entertainment industry, where not everyone belongs to the Iglesia ni Cristo.
In discussing his relationship with Bianca, Ruru emphasized that he did not want to pressure her into making a decision about his faith. Instead, he chose to wait for the decision to come from Bianca herself.
